Volunteers Workshop

The first workshop for community use suggestions took place on Monday 6th Feb 2023, almost a year after the community bought the pub. If you weren’t able to attend and would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you by emailing admin@therisingsunwoodcroft.co.uk

By this time, numerous hours had been offered by many members of the generous local community in the form of painting, sanding, cleaning, DIYing and anything that was required to get the pub open for business.

Like most events held in the pub, the evening was a lively affair, punctuated with some good natured leg pulling and gentle persuasion. Flip charts were covered with permanent markers and promises made to push forward a number of great ideas.

In summary there were 3 categories of ideas. General Pub use, Community Room use and Occasional events.
